Supported Scaffold User Training

Supported Scaffold User Hazard Awareness Training is intended for any and all persons who use a scaffold to access their work. The training presented in this course is in accordance with the requirements set forth in OSHA 29 CFR 1926.454(a)(1-5).


Who needs Scaffold User Training?

Everyone in the United States who works on or uses a scaffold is required to have training in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.454(a). This curriculum covers hazard recognition for frame, system, and tube & coupler supported scaffolds.

What Does the Curriculum Include?

Students will learn about scaffolding fundamentals including electrocution, fall hazards, falling objects, proper use of the scaffold, proper handling of materials on the scaffold, and the load-carrying capabilities of the scaffold.

Who Developed Supported Scaffold User Training Course?

This user scaffold training course was developed by David H. Glabe, P.E. who is the foremost expert on scaffold and access in the United States. He has trained thousands of students for companies and training centers worldwide.
